  1. ENJOY THE ALL-ADULT AMBIANCE.

Not matter if you’re a Millennial duo on your first getaway together or an old married couple who has finally found time for a “just us” second honeymoon or anniversary trip, a kid-free environment is way more conducive to romance.   An adults-only luxury all-inclusive lets you totally relax, be pampered and enjoy interacting with other adults. If you’re traveling with a group of friends (think guy/girlfriend getaway) you will appreciate not having to worry about having “PG” behavior for the sake of kids.
  1. PAY UP FRONT, LEAVE STREE BEHIND.

No one likes being nickeled-and-dimed, even if you’re not on a budget for a trip.  It’s hard to relax when you’re constantly pulling out your wallet or purse for this or that expense.  Luxury all-inclusive resorts allow you to have the kind of carefree vacation where you pre-pay one price up front and then…enjoy!
  1. LUXURIATE IN A PARADISE THAT PAMPERS YOU.

From the moment you arrive at a resort you know you are in for an exquisite experience with high-quality, personalized service at every turn. You won’t lose time plotting out how you will spend your day as there is personnel to assist you with booking everything from dinner reservations to onsite activities.

Today’s luxury all-inclusive resorts (four and five-star properties) take pride in the quality, variety, and elegance of their restaurants onsite. Usually, you will find an international eatery as well as other cuisines like French, Italian, Spanish, Mexican, Asian and the Caribbean and sometimes an American steakhouse. An adults-only all-inclusive really shines with the dining experience;  you can look forward to a quiet, intimate meal with perhaps drinks at a bar, or by the pool and guess what – top-shelf spirits and no noisy kids.
  1. KEEP ACTIVE AND STAY ON TOP OF YOUR GAME. . .IF YOU WANT. . .

Depending upon the resort you may find organized activities like beach volleyball, dance lessons, spinning, and aerobics to mention a few. Some resorts include diving for certified divers and golf if there is a course onsite or nearby -usually for no cost or a nominal cost.

Long Island – Bahamas

Long Island is one of the many out islands, or family islands, as they are called, of the Bahamas. Photos will paint the best picture of this island!

San Francisco!

What a neat city –  lots of touristy places to see. . .

different foods to try. . . Like Ramen in Japantown. . .

And a nature is just a hop, skip and a jump away!

We happened to visit about the time the recent fires were burning but we had fun exploring in spite of them.  My heart goes out to all those impacted by the fires and I will need to make another trip out to Sonoma and Napa to visit those communities as they rebuild.

St. Lucia – Anse Chastanet

The Anse Chastanet is an excellent choice for a truly relaxing visit to the island of St. Lucia where you can be one with the environment. Arriving by boat one can just barely see the building, up high on the hill.  And not to worry – you have your choice of walking up and stopping along the way to admire the view or you’ll be picked up and driven to the main building.

And a real treasure here are the views from the rooms.

The rooms themselves make you “ooh and aw (!) with every discovery about the room.

Some of the rooms have a 4th wall that is entirely open to the views or even missing.

A stay here can transport you from the everyday stress of life.  You can enjoy an action packed vacation or honeymoon with watersports, hiking and more.  Or you can simply relax and be pampered.

Hopetown

I heard this song on the radio the other day. . .and a few seconds into the song, I was like, wait a minute. . .this song is about Hopetown in the Bahamas.

It brought back memories from one of many trips to the out islands of the Bahamas. Hopetown is located on Elbow Cay, in Abaco.  Abaco is a boater’s dream – a number of little cays on the sea of Abaco.  Our first trip there we rented a boat and explored one and all of them.  (Of course, we also got caught out in the sea of Abaco during a terrific storm, but heh, that just makes the story better and we learned our lesson)

I’m thinking it is time to return!
